Hotel La Vid La Fortuna

Had a really nice time at Hotel La Vid . The location couldn't be better. It's super close to the main square. The room felt spacious and clean, with great AC and hot water, just what I needed after a day of exploring. Breakfast options were decent, served right in front of the hotel, though I wished for a bit of variety since the menu stayed the same each day. There were a few hiccups. The noise factor can be a problem, especially with the hotel being right on a busy street. I could hear outside traffic quite clearly, and there's a noisy generator nearby that kicked in every half hour. I felt the staff tried their best and were very kind, but the overall experience was marred by the noise issues.

We had standard triple room, and it was reasonably spacious. The staff members were all affable and amicable. The location was fantastic and good - ease of access to Sendero Bogarin.

Oh man, breakfast at La Vid was a real treat! Fresh local dishes hit the spot every morning. Plus, the hotel's common area was perfect, complete with giant games that kept us entertained!

The noise from the street was something else-I'm pretty sure I heard every car zooming by! And the bathroom vents added another layer of disturbance, especially during rainy nights. Thank goodness for the comfy beds, though!

Positive, We enjoyed the cute drink upon arrival, and breakfast was included. The common area had giant games like Jenga and Connect 4, super fun. Our room was clean with a working TV, AC, and hot water. Plus, the staff was attentive and helpful!

The location, while central, brought constant street noise, made it hard to catch some sleep. The double bed pushed against the window left the other half of the room feeling cold and empty, with no furniture for unpacking. Odd bathroom vents created extra disturbances, especially during rainy nights. The shower in my room had exposed wires at the top, raising safety concerns about usability.

Great for Family with Children

The staff were very friendly they really were great too help us with anything we needed. The setup outside with giant games was a hit with the kids we spent hours playing giant Jenga and connect 4.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

Just a top selection for a weekend adventure in La Fortuna with best value. The staff was always on hand to top up my water bottle. Bring your own cooler if you want to keep drinks cold.

Delicious breakfast and super clean room, but the street noise was distracting.

The common area outside was a lovely retreat after our day trips, boasting giant games and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was genuinely nice, and breakfast at La Vid Steakhouse was a delight. The noise from the streets might be bothersome for light sleepers.

Very nice Volcano Views and Friendly Staff!

The amazing view of the volcano from our room was a highlight. Breakfast was delicious, with local dishes, and the staff genuinely cared to enhance our stay. For a quieter experience, request a room further from the street. An enjoyable getaway in La Fortuna!

The rooms are very spacious, the staff is friendly and nice, and it's in a great location near bars and restaurants, only 0.5 miles from the airport.

Centrally located, walking distance to everything! AC and wifi in rooms, modern and clean. Beautiful courtyard setting. Helpful and friendly staff, especially David at reception. Great value for money. Breakfast options available every day.
